Dana Nofal is an Associate in the Commercial Division at Al Khair Legal Attorneys. Her work centres on corporate and commercial matters, with a particular interest in cross-border transactions, private equity real estate, investment funds, and regulatory frameworks. Having practiced across London, Dubai, and the wider Middle East, she brings a distinctly international outlook to her work, underpinned by a practical understanding of how sophisticated matters are managed across jurisdictions. Dana’s approach transcends mere legal analysis; she prioritises the coordination, responsiveness, and commercial awareness required to carry a transaction from inception to effective completion.
Before joining the firm, Dana gained experience at Greenberg Traurig LLP, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, and White & Case LLP, where she worked across private equity real estate, funds, and broader corporate matters. During her time at these firms, she was exposed to the pace and structure of sophisticated transactional work, including due diligence, drafting and reviewing key legal documentation, and the intricacies of signing and closing processes. This work further involved the wider management of documentation across multi-jurisdictional matters, requiring seamless coordination between investors, legal teams, local counsel, tax advisers, and fund administrators.
Beyond the substantive legal work, her experience encompasses the critical organisational side of transactions, ensuring deal momentum through the precise maintenance of trackers, checklists, and the resolution of complex documentation follow-up points. This focus on transactional execution extends to supporting post-completion work and the finalisation of transaction bibles, as well as providing fee-related analysis and billing support within the fund's context.
Dana holds an LL.M. with Distinction and an LL.B. from the University of Bristol, where she focused on corporate governance, company law, and international corporate finance. She has also completed SQE 1 and SQE 2, and is fluent in English and Arabic.
